Reader Question
WHITE SKIN TAG, LOOKS LIKE A NIPPLE, BUT HIGHER THAN ONE SHOULD BE. LUCY IS 7 YEARS OLD.

Answer from Our Team

Skin tags and similar small, soft, stalked growths are common and usually harmless. Since it looks like an extra nipple, your vet can also check whether it is one.

Watch it for changes. If it grows, bleeds or changes color, have it checked.

See lumps and bumps on dogs.

This is general information, not a diagnosis. Please follow your own vet's advice.
