Senior Mastiff With Blood in Her Urine for 2 Days

Blood in the urine that hasn't stopped after 2 days is worth a vet visit soon. A urinary tract infection is the most common cause, but in an older dog, bladder stones and bladder tumors also need ruling out, and both can look just like an infection.
Take a fresh urine sample with you if you can. Go the same day if she is straining without passing urine, peeing only drops, passing large clots, vomiting, weak, not eating or has pale gums, or if she could have eaten rat poison. Your vet will probably test her urine, and may suggest an ultrasound or X-ray. If she isn't spayed, the blood could be coming from her uterus rather than her bladder. A uterine infection (pyometra) is an emergency, especially with drinking more, lethargy or discharge.
