Answer from Our Team

Raised, scabbed bumps that are tender when touched are often a bacterial skin infection, but some can be small skin growths.

Ask your vet for a quick cytology of a scab, and a needle sample of any bump that grows or persists.

See skin rashes in dogs and lumps and bumps on dogs.

This is general information, not a diagnosis. Please follow your own vet's advice.
