Puppy Developed a Cloudy Eye After Vaccines

A cloudy eye in a puppy should be checked soon. Older vaccines containing canine adenovirus type 1 occasionally caused a bluish corneal haze; modern vaccines use a related virus that rarely does, and when it happens it usually clears on its own. That haze usually appears a week or more later, so a cloudy eye the next day is more likely from something else. Other causes in puppies include scratches from littermates, ulcers and inborn eye problems.
Your vet can stain the eye and check it. Go sooner if the eye becomes red, squinty or painful.
