Poodle Who Urinates Often During the Day

Now, she is housebroken. But, I ahve noticed during the day she can need to go as little as every two hours. But when she awakes after sleeping 8 hours, she can do a bowel movement right away and then take up to 10 minutes before urinating. This doesn't seem to make sense.
Needing to go every couple of hours and taking time to start in the morning can be normal for a small dog, especially one recently house-trained. But frequent urination can also mean a bladder infection, crystals or drinking more water.
Ask your vet for a urine test and to check how much she drinks. If those are normal, a regular schedule usually helps.
