Dog's Poop Is Suddenly Much Larger and Very Smelly
Large, very smelly poop usually means food isn't being fully digested or absorbed. Common causes are a new food, treats or table scraps, or scavenging. If the poop is also pale, greasy or soft, and she's very hungry or losing weight, it can be a sign of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) or another digestive problem.
If it lasts more than a few days, ask your vet to examine her and test a stool sample. Parasites such as Giardia can also cause foul-smelling stools. Your vet may suggest blood tests to check how well she digests food.
