Dog Unwell and Passing Stool Like Chopped Liver

My dog doesn't seem well, he's also passing stools that look like chopped liver. Any idea what this might be?

Stool that looks like chopped liver or raspberry jam often contains a lot of blood, and in a dog who seems unwell it needs a vet today. One possible cause is acute hemorrhagic diarrhea syndrome, which can cause rapid dehydration; others include parvovirus in young or unvaccinated dogs, poisoning and serious gut infections.
Please go to your vet or an emergency clinic, especially if your dog is vomiting, weak or has pale gums.
