Dog Breaking Out in Several Places While on Medication

New patches appearing while a dog is being treated can mean the treatment isn't right for the cause, the infection is spreading, or it's a different problem such as a drug reaction, allergy or mites.

Let your vet know right away so they can recheck the skin, and confirm the diagnosis with a culture, skin scraping or biopsy if needed.
