Cocker Spaniel With Urine Crystals and Food Allergies

Please, what do you suggest?
Several companies make prescription urinary diets, and some hydrolyzed-protein prescription diets are also formulated to support urinary health. Ask your vet about those options rather than trying to manage crystals with a regular food. Sweet potato isn't in the same plant family as white potato, but ask your vet before trying it.
Also confirm whether he has crystals only or actual stones, since crystals alone don't always need treatment. Your vet can recheck a fresh urine sample.
See bladder stones in dogs for more on crystals vs. stones.
This is general information, not a diagnosis. Please follow your own vet's advice.
