Chorkie Pants and Shakes in the Car After a Car Wash Scare
This is most likely fear, although motion sickness can add to it: one frightening experience can make a dog anxious about the whole situation. Work slowly: sit with her in the parked car with treats for a few minutes, then start the engine, then take very short drives to fun places, always stopping before she gets stressed.
A secure crate or car seat, some ventilation, and a calm voice help. Avoid car washes for now. If she stays very anxious, ask your vet about anti-anxiety or anti-nausea medication for car trips.
