My dog has an adrenal gland cancer that has spread to his spleen. what is his prognosis?

Answer from Our Team

When an adrenal cancer has spread, the outlook is usually guarded, often months rather than years. But it varies with the tumor type, how much it has spread and how your dog feels.

Ask your vet or a veterinary oncologist about palliative options, including pain relief and medications to control hormone effects, and about signs that would mean he's suffering. Focusing on comfort and good days is a valid choice.
