Green Discharge From a Young Service Dog's Penis
by A reader
Normal smegma in young males is a small amount of creamy, white to yellow discharge at the tip of the sheath. Green discharge, a large amount, a bad smell, or constant licking point to an infection of the sheath (balanoposthitis) or occasionally a urinary infection.
Ask your vet to take a look. They may flush the sheath and prescribe a cleaning solution, and a urine test can rule out a bladder infection.
