according to our pups eye Doc. It appears that our Sister just ran into a stick, Not that simple! If caught early, can be treated with drugs. Our pup is schedualed for surgery thurs am. The red is the pressure & fluid building within. because the tearing can not get out . Her eye will burst! To have the eye removed is almost as expensive as repairing the damage, caused by the calcium that causes the ulcer. good luck! The doc will slide extra cornea over hole, then sew lids shut for sbout 2 weeks. Jim M.
